Got a Gig Coming up you want in a
SAM Alert?

We have developed a new way to transmit gig information to be sent in a SAM Alert.

To post your information:

You will first need to establish a Google account (unless you already have one). It's quick, easy and free. Go to Google.com and click on 'Mail' at the top of the page. On the right hand side of the page is a button to 'Create an Account'. Click on that and follow the instructions.

Once you have a Google identity, go to:

gigsatsam.blogspot.com

In the top right corner, click on 'Sign In.

Sign in with your Google User Name and Password.

Redirect back to:

gigsatsam.blogspot.com

Click on the day of your gig.

Click in the 'comment' box.

Enter the following information:

Day of the week
Date of your gig
Who you are
What time your gig is
Where your gig is (name of venue)
Address of venue
Whether or not there is a cover charge

Under the box for your 'comment' is a box is a box that says:

Comment as: (Select Profile)

Select 'Google Account'

Click on 'Post Comment'

Your gig information will be posted as a comment under the day of the week your gig is.

Return to gigsatsam.blogspot.com to view and confirm your information

That's it. Our 'Score' editor visits the blog between 5pm and 5:30pm on Sunday and Thursday and will copy all the gig 'comments' and place them in appropriate places in the SAM Score, our twice-a-week email for acoustic music performers and venues.
